We are always looking for undergraduate and graduate students who are enthusiastic about conducting educational research that makes positive impact on student learning!

 

We conduct school-based research on contextual (classroom) factors that promote positive motivation for learning of all students,  designing assessment systems for early identification of risk, and developing academic and motivational interventions.

 

As a researcher at LLaMA lab, you will have opportunities to learn how to design and implement rigorous educational research studies. Such opportunities include hands-on experiences on recruitment, data collection (which includes working with students), data coding, and data-analyses, as well as mentorship in writing manuscripts.
